TERRANCE DEWAYNE HARRIS, SR., was born on December 15, 1979, in Monroe, Louisiana. He was the youngest of three siblings born to Sharon Carter and late Robert Sullivan and a devoted stepfather, the late James Carter, Sr. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 9, 2022 .
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carrie Elaine Harris, and aunt, Brenda Harris.
He graduated from Carroll High School in 1998, where he was a proud bulldog football standout. Terrance transitioned into the workforce where he worked as a Tree Service Foreman for 10 years. Terrance was respected and endeared by his co-workers for his work ethic and determination.
Terrance was family oriented. He truly loved his family. He was his children’s biggest fan. When he was not working, he could be found talking, supporting his kids, and bonding with family and friends. He was an all-around loyal friend, hard worker, and amazing father.
Terrance leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Sharon D. Harris Carter; two daughters, Teriana Williams and Blair Alexander; three sons, Tavarius Harris, Terrance Harris, Jr., and Terrance Goodin; grandmother, Annie Pearl carter; two sisters, Chelsea Carter and Robinesha Moran; step sister, Lawanda Bonner of Monroe, LA; brother, James Carter, Jr.; special brothers, Demarrius Reed and Melvin Harris; and a host of very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, and his work family.
