Taqiyy Al Jabbaar Paster was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on February 7, 1990, to Lester and Bessie Paster.
Taqiyy was the living example of JOY. He was the sparkle in any room. His spirit was so infectious, and it left a lasting imprint on your soul. He LOVED his family and friends with all of his heart.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Edgar Holmes, Sr., and Russell Paster, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Bessie Paster; father, Lester Paster; grandmothers, Bertha Holmes and Hilda Love; five children, Taqira Hendrix, Taqiyona Gilbert, Taqiyyvia Paster, Blessing Paster, and Taqiyy Paster, Jr.; sisters, Glenell Jacobs (Marcus), Omega Cooper (Lee), and T’Era Bursey (Ceddrick); and brother, Darius Johnson (LaToya); nieces and nephews, Bryant Jr., JaGarriona, Garranesha, Marcus Jr., JaMarcus, Ceddriona, Ceddrick Jr., Kennedie, Darius, Talasha, De’Aries, Bryant III, Mattilyn, Briasia, and Kash; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends whom he loved dearly.
