Brother Stephen James Jordan was born to the late Andrew Lee Jordan Sr. and Lucille Jordan on January 25, 1964. He was the next to the youngest of the eight children. His Father, Andrew Lee Jordan Sr., (1) Brother Kelvin Jordan, and (1) Sister Elizabeth Jordan preceded him in death.
Brother Stephen James Jordan was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Ed Taylor at the St. Bethel Baptist Church in Kelly, Louisiana. Brother Jordan attended Caldwell High School in Columbia, Louisiana.
Brother Jordan was a mechanic by trade; he enjoyed getting his hands dirty .He loved cars and spent many hours learning about and working on them. He enjoyed serving people especially, if he could fix someone’s car or anything mechanical. Stephen was fun loving, nit picking, and loved animals. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing, grilling and just relaxing in nature. He was a friend to everyone and was loved by many friends. He gave 100% of himself even if it left him with nothing. Stephen was a compassionate person who loved his family and friends dearly.
