Sip "Pete" Parish

Sip “Pete” Parish, was born on November 10, 1949 to the late Deacon Sip and Ora Lee Casson Parish in Shreveport, LA.  He was the second of four children that grew up in Shreveport, LA.  His parents instilled strong Christian values and beliefs at an early age that led Pete to accepting Christ at Union Springs Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J.E. Martin.  Pete served faithfully as a member and Deacon of Cross of Christ Missionary Baptist Church until he took ill. On Friday, July 3, 2020, he took rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father surrounded by family.
