Brother Sidney Dubose was born November 28, 1948 and departed his life on April 28, 2020 at the Saint Francis Medical Center after a short illness. He was the son of the Late Mr. Sidney Dubose, Sr. and the Late Mrs. Bessie M. Dubose. He was married to Mrs. Ellen Cheffin Dubose. He united with the Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Reverend Jim Cloman. He was on the Usher board for many years until his health started failing along as superintendent of the Sunday School.
Preceding him in death is his parents, and sisters, Mrs. Silverstein Branson of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Mrs. Helen Dubose of California.
Sidney leaves to mourn six brothers and two sisters, namely; Mr. Simmie Dubose and Mr. Charles Dubose, both along with their wives, Mrs. Delioah Dubose and Mrs. Terry Chambers-Dubose of Columbia Heights, Louisiana; Frank Dubose of Clarks, Louisiana; Bobby Dubose of Grayson, Louisiana; Michael Dubose of Winnsboro, Louisiana; and Roosevelt Dubose of Monroe, Louisiana; Patsy Dubose of Clarks, Louisiana and Susie M. Jackson of Bastrop, Louisiana.
He also leaves to mourn Mr. and Mrs. Bill Taylor of Clarks, Louisiana, an old employer for many years. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
