Shonda Fields was born on February 4, 1978, in Monroe, LA, to the late Clyde and Mary Ann Fields. She departed her life on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA.
She joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde L. Fields; sister, Phyllis Hull-Fields; mother, Mary Ann Fields; and special brother, Cedric “Bird” Haulcy.
Shonda worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at People’s Center in Ruston, LA. She enjoyed caring for her residents. She also loved to cook.
She leaves to cherish her memories: seven devoted children, T’Kila Fields of Ruston, LA, Lee Hill, Jr., Ryterion Jua’Quan Fields of Farmerville, LA, T’Kyra Fields, Javier Fields, Erynn Fields, and Eric Fields of Ruston, LA; three grandchildren, Reginald, Wynter, and Summer; three sisters, Shawana Fields of Farmerville, LA, Cassandra Edmonds (Raymond) of West Monroe, LA, and Cristy Glover of Farmerville, LA; one brother, Corinthian Warren (Amy) of Oklahoma City, OKC; goddaughters, Quateiya Haulcy and Curraya Richburg; godson, Kyrion Haulcy; four special friends, Courtney Nation, Lucientus “Katie” Goldsby, Tina Turner, and Kimilee Henderson; her beloved fiance, Eric Roberson of Ruston, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
