Shirley Mae Williams was born December 3, 1957, to Annette Beavers and Napoleon Williams, Sr., in Monroe, LA.
Shirley was baptized at Greater Flower Mount Baptist Church.
She attended Carroll High School. After high school, Shirley dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. We will always love her for that. Shirley loved to spend time with family, listen to music, watch movies (The Princess and the Frog was her favorite), and she enjoyed talking on the phone. She also enjoyed shopping and playing Bingo. She was employed at Foster Farms. Shirley was very active and was always willing to help others.
Preceding her in death are her two brothers, Nolan Hardy and Hollis Frazier, and her dad, Napoleon Williams, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Annette Beavers; her five children, Donyel Williams, Yolanda Williams, Kenyatta Williams, Earnest Williams (Kimberly Gray-Williams), and Antonio Williams (Joanta Holmes-Williams); her brothers and her sisters; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
