Sherece L Johnson

Sherece LaShawn Johnson was born on April 11, 1973, in Kansas City, Missouri to Mr. Alex L. Johnson, Sr. and Shirley Mae Johnson.

She attended Lee Jr. High School and Ouachita Highway School. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined St. Joe Baptist Church in Alto, Louisiana where she sang in the choir. Later in her she attended Power Church International, Monroe, Louisiana.

Sherece passion was cooking. She enjoyed feeding her family members and close friends. She worked at several local restaurants in the city of Monroe. She moved to Dallas, Texas to lived with her sons until her death.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. Vinnie and Beulah Johnson, maternal grandmother, Luegenia Cherry, great grandmother, Beatrice C. Bolden, mother, Shirley M. Johnson, daughter, Cierra Johnson, brother, George L. Cherry, niece, Ka’Reena Johnson, nephew, Alex Lee Johnson III, 4 uncles, Karthur Johnson, Roy Johnson, Michael Cherry and Mylin L. Cherry, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 sons, Sebastion Johnson (Angel Taylor) and Charles Johnson, Dallas, TX, 2 grandsons, Charles Johnson Jr., Monroe, LA and Elijah Taylor, Dallas, TX, 4 sisters, Karen Goree, Monroe, LA, Areatha Johnson, Dallas, TX, Nekosher Dillard and Rachel Johnson, Lees Summit, MO, father, Alex Lee Johnson, Sr. (Vanessa), Lees Summit, MO, 8 aunts, 2 uncles, 11 nieces, 6 nephews, 1 great-niece, 1 great-nephew, and a host of cousins, family and friends.
