Sammy Badger, Jr. was born June 3, 1957 to the union of Eunice George Badger and Sammy Badger, Sr. in Monroe, Louisiana. His parents precedes him in death, along with two sisters, Minnie Pearl Badger Marbles and Frances Badger Hodge; one brother, John Trenton Badger; and a son , Kenneth Dewayne Badger.
He attended Burks Elementary and Ouachita High School.
Sammy leaves to cherish his loving memories: a devoted wife, Linda Morehead Badger; 5 daughters, Willie Mae Williams, Victoria Badger, Glenda Spurs (Isaac), Tiffany Tyson (Brandon), Brenda Lewis (Emanuel); 4 sons, Sammy Badger III, Tremaine Badger, John Badger (Markesha) and Caleb Dwayne Badger all of Monroe, Louisiana; 4 sisters, Dorothy Staten, Delores George, Esther Badger and Rosemary Badger; 2 brothers Jimmy Lee George and Eddie Lee George, all of Monroe, Louisiana; 2 Aunts, Lillie Mae Thomas and Idamece Badger of Sacramento, California; 2 uncles Johnny Badger and Dobie George of Hazelhurst, Mississippi; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, and friends.
