Rosette Wooten Harris was born on May 6, 1974, to Rosetta Wooten and Lavelle Singleton of Columbia, LA. She was a member of the Brownville Baptist Church. She graduated from Caldwell High School. Rosette worked at Advance Sitting and Caldwell Memorial and the Halvin in Columbia, LA. Rosette loved to laugh and have fun and drive her car.
Rosette peacefully entered into her eternal rest on May 12, 2024, at Baton Rouge General in Baton Rouge, LA, surrounded by her husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosetta Wooten; grandmother, Rose Lee Neal and Margaret Lean Wooten; Garfield Singleton; father, Lavelle Singleton; two aunts, Alicia Wooten and Dora Tatum; and grandfather, Hully Wooten.
Rosette leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Calvin Harris; one daughter, Re’yanna Harris; two sisters, Gladys Malquirie (Dennis); special sister, De’Naitre Watson; sister, Bori’dqen Singleton; brother, Bill Singleton; three aunts, Curtis Miller, Mary Neal, and Virginia Hampton; one special aunt, Kenya; two uncles, Willie Tatum and Eddie Wooten; one special niece, Sharon Ann Wooten; two special nephews, Carlos Wooten and Dennis Wooten; special cousins, Felicia Wooten, Kathy Wooten, Ann Marie London, Brenda Tatum, Brandon Roquemore, Dontavious Roquemore, Corey Varmon, and Cheucy Neal; best friend for 40 years, Kimberly Camda; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
