Roosevelt King, the youngest born to Eddie and Pomp King, devoted his life to Christ at an early age, and until his passing, he followed in God's footsteps. Roosevelt was a proud man, helping whenever someone needed help, talking to you when you need an ear for someone to talk to. He was a loner, and that's how he wanted it, but most of all, he was an animal lover. He loved his eight dogs, parrot, and eight doves. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working on the farm in his younger days. He grew up on the family's farm in Delhi, Louisiana.
After graduating, he was drafted into the US Army, where he served in Vietnam. After he was discharged from the army, he lived in Seattle, Washington where he was employed at Boeing Aircraft. After retiring, he returned the Delhi, Louisiana, where he lived on the family's land.
He enjoyed visits from his family, especially his granddaughter from Seattle. Roosevelt will be greatly missed by his family.
Rest In Peace, Roosevelt.
