Ronald Wayne Ross was born to the late Ronald Deburr and Thelma Marie Ross on September 30, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Brother Ross moved to Monroe, Louisiana at the age of 10. He graduated from Wossman High School, Class of ‘81. He loved sports and participated in football and basketball in school. He loved to sing, dance, and skate.
Brother Ross accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Little Flower Church. He moved to Oakland, California in his 20s. He returned to Monroe in 2013 and joined Saint Mary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley and was a faithful member until his death.
Brother Ross departed this life at SFMC on December 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Deburr and Thelma Marie Ross; sister, Sandra Faye Ross; brother, Larry Ross; son, Fransqwar Harris; and stepson, Joseph Harper.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Brenda Ross; niece/sister, Sherry Ross; daughters, Shameka Drumgole and LaRonda Jackson; son, Jeremy Jackson; a host of stepchildren/ grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; and a very special friend, Ricky Foy.
