On September 3, 1967, Robert L. Hedgeman, Jr., AKA (DIC) was born to Robert and Carrie Bell Hedgemon.
He departed his life on April 13, 2025, at his home in Delhi, Louisiana.
Robert attended McCall High School. He was an employee at Farmers Grain for 20 plus years. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was also everyone favorite and go-to mechanic. He could literally fix anything as he was really a "jack-of-all-trades". He also love to fish and hunt. It wasn’t nothing you could tell him about these two sports. Being the handy man he was, if he couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t be fixed.
Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Adrielle Leggins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his lovely wife, Beulah Hedgemon; two daughters, Deja Leggins of Rayville, Louisiana, and Amiya Hedgemon of Monroe, Louisiana; two sons, Labradford (Janeisha) Hedgemon of Baytown Texas, and Robert Hedgemon III of Delhi, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Sr. (Adrienne) Hedgemon and Timmy Hedgemon, both of Delhi, Louisiana; three sisters, Jane (Bobby) Leggins of Bee Bayou, Louisiana, Carrie Lee Hedgemon, and Shirley (Li on) Ward, both of Pioneer, Louisiana; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
