Brother Robert Underwood, Jr., was born on May 13, 1971, to the union of Robert and Lela Underwood, Sr., in Monroe, Louisiana. He departed life on June 22, 2025.
Brother Robert was baptized at an early age at New Galilee Baptist Church, located at 3816 Carver Street, Monroe, Louisiana 71203, under the leadership of Reverend Lawrence Vernon. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Liberty Christian Center under the pastoral leadership of Drs Johnny and Pamela Drumgole until he departed this life.
Brother Robert worked as a cook in various restaurants throughout his life, where he designed and catered to many parties and events. His pasttime hobbies were designing baskets, floral wreaths, and arrangements, which were sold to many.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his beloved parents, Robert and Lela Underwood, Sr.; one sibling, DeWanda L. Perry-Covington (Alexander); one niece, Ryya N. Perry; two nephews, Larry D. Perry III and Christopher L. Perry; two great-nephews, Larry D. Bryant and Dylon D. Perry; and one great-niece, Brooklynn A. Perry. Also, he leaves three godsisters, Angela Henderson (Alfred), Christina Hills (Kevin), and Amber Brown (Doug), and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
