Richard Adams

Richard E. Adams (Peterman), age 74, was born July 22, 1950, to Johnnie Lee McDonald and Earnest Adams. Richard passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

He was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church from a early age. He was a graduate of Central High School. Richard served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a caring son, a loving brother, and a wonderful uncle.

Richard lived a good life. He minded his own business and was a straight shooter when you got into his business.

He will be greatly missed in the community of Caldwell Parish.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Charles McDonald; sister, Debra Ann McDonald; brother, Larry Croom; mother, Johnnie Lee McDonald; brother, Gary Croom; and sister, Evelyn Croom.

He is survived by: his only son, Richard E. Morgan, son of Mildred Morgan; one sister, Ophelia Mozee (Croom); and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
