Reginald Shawn Fields was born on March 27, 1967, in Monroe, Louisiana to Dorothy Fields and Andrew Fields. He peacefully passed away on April 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Reginald was more than a barber. He was a pillar in his community. Through his work, he built strong relationships and created a sense of family. To many, he was more than a familiar face in the chair. He was a trusted voice, a listening ear, and an “uncle” to countless individuals who looked up to him for guidance, humor, and comfort.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Fields; his mother, Dorothy Fields; and his brother, Donald Ray Fields.
He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Clifton Fields, Andrea Fields-Bass, and Steve Wayne Fields; his Godbrother, Bishop Rodney McFarland Sr.; and his children, Reginal Stevenson, Amber Fields, Alaina Fields, and Keldrique Butler. He also leaves a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.
Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” —2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV
