Reese Washington, Jr. was born on February 21, 1955, in Delhi, Louisiana. He was baptized as a child at Mt. Olive and served God at Morning Star Church. He later in life was a faithful member at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Reese loved his music, Kangol hats, his family, and mostly his truck. He was a member of the Masonship of Milwakee. Mainly, he was in love with the Lord.

Reese goes on to join his mother Maggie (Mama Snoop) Williams and his father, Reese Washington, Sr. (Daddy Reese). He also is reunited with his sister, Armie (Aunt Pookie) Bentany-Overton. Joining many other family members saying Welcome home, servant. Well done. Thou have been faithful over few; know I will make you ruler over many. Enter unto the joy of the Lord – Matthew 25:23.

Reese’s siblings are Shirley Hall, James King, and Lewis Cole. His children are Eric Brass, Reese Washington, III, Shirley Washington-Burgess, and Laydon Washington. He was blessed with three grands, Jerlany’us Washington, Sr., Garlandrius Burgess and Jada Washington Jackson. He also has one Great-grandson, Jerlany’us Washington, Jr.
Reese also leaves a tribe of special nieces and nephews, Ros, Tammy, Yolanda, BoBo, Ann, Teddy, Anthony, Charles, Niecy, Tawanda, and Reggie, along with many others who loved him so, and had the chance to call him cousin, uncle, brother, papa, daddy, and friend.
