Welcome to the memorial page for

Pinkie Lee Knox

March 9, 1944 ~ September 9, 2020 (age 76)

Ms. Pinkie Lee Knox was born on March 9, 1944, to the late Mr. Bill and Eva Hendrix of Waverly, LA. She was one of twelve children born to this union.

Pinkie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age and remained faithful to her Christianity throughout her life. She remained faithful to her Christian duties at the Mount Harmony Baptist Church of Ruston, LA, pastored by her grandson Reverend Quincy D. Knox, by keeping her mind, heart, and spirit focused on Jesus. She received her education from the Madison Parish School system and held various jobs throughout her lifetime. Her passions were cooking, baking, cleaning, and above all, her most passionate thing was spending time with her children and family.

On September 9, 2020, the angel of silence came to Pinkie Knox and sealed the lips of our beloved. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Mr. Bill and Eva Hendrix; four sisters, Ruby Hudson, Betty Lane, Florence Washington, and Dorothy Marshall; and one brother, Bill Hendrix, Sr.
