Percy Stanbrough Livingston, Sr. was born on May 3, 1960 in Tallulah, LA at Madison Parish Hospital, as the youngest son of the late Gloria Veatta Livingston and the late Cleveland Lee Livingston.
He began his education in Tallulah attending Kindergarten and Elementary School at Wright Elementary. He attended Junior High & High School in Tallulah at Reuben McCall Junior & Reuben McCall Senior High Schools. Graduating in 1978 with his high school diploma. During his high school years, he was a member of McCall’s basketball team.
Following high school, he followed in the family tradition of enrolling at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. While there, he pledged Alpha Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Crossing over in the Spring of 1981. The following year in the Spring of 1982, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.
He returned to Tallulah & started an insurance business sharing office space with Thomas Joe Williams & Attorney Sam Thomas. He later decided to return to school attending Grambling State University. There he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1992 while still working to support his family.
He married Glynda Clark on December 27, 1986 and to this union one child was born. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Livingston and his father Cleveland Livingston.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Glynda Livingston; one daughter Krystal Wilson of Arlington TX; two sons, Daniel (Krystle) Herring of Houston TX & Percy (Savannah) Livingston Jr. of Grand Prairie TX, seven grandchildren Neveah, Mason, Kyran, Karson, Amari, Addison and Daniel II; one sister, Herlinda Asberry of Corona, CA; one brother, Dr. Michael Livingston of Ridgeland, MS; two sisters-in-law, Margaret (Cleveland) Rodney of Tallulah LA, and Cynthia Clark of Bastrop LA; two brothers-in-law, Norris Clark and Ray Taylor of Tallulah LA; four godchildren; Krishna Bridgewater, L’Davia, Khailond & Anastynn Williams and a host of family, friends, nieces and nephews.
