Pearlie Ann Singleton was born on January 23, 1955, in Newelton, Louisiana, to the late Ruby Lee Singleton and LeRoy Singleton, Sr. After the passing of her mother, Pearlie was raised by the late Rosie Menyweathers, into the God fearing woman we all knew and loved. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ. She was baptized at New Jerusalem under the leadership of the late Reverend Earnest Baldwin. She later became a faithful member of New Light MB Church under the late Bishop Branch and Reverend Johnny Robinson. She attended and graduated from Rueben McCall Senior High School in 1973. She was employed in various jobs. She was very well known as a caretaker and cook and loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lee Singleton; father, LeRoy Singleton, Sr.; mother, Rosie Menyweathers; brother, LeRoy Singleton, Jr.; three sisters, Katie Singleton, Janice Singleton, and Jacqueline Gray; son, Fredrick Singleton, Sr.; grandson, Fredrick Singleton, Jr.; granddaughter, Takierra Singleton; and son, Charles Singleton, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, LaShumda Singleton and Kiva Parker (Fredrick), both of Tallulah, LA; son, Christopher Singleton, Sr., of Tallulah, LA; three sisters, Celie Wilson, Ruby Lee Singleton, both of Las Vegas, NV, and Monique Williams of Tallulah, LA; 13 grandchildren, Davien Singleton, Brittany Douglas (Alfred), Freddricka Singleton, Charles Singleton, Jr. (Shanfrancesca), Charvez Singleton, MarKayla Cooper, Heden Singleton, Frederick Parker, Jr., Amerie Singleton, Caiden Ezell, Christopher Singleton, Jr., Kamel Singleton, and Ashton Singleton; nine great-grandchildren; two special nephews, Zelmarcus Singleton and Demarcus Singleton (Kimberly); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
