Pearlean Hutton Steele was born March 31, 1949, to Ruby Pearl House, in Delhi, Louisiana. She departed this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
She was a member of the True Vine Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Herbert Rancher, where she served as an usher and was the vice president alongside Mrs. Bessie Bailey, who was the president at the time.
Pearlean’s first marriage was to the late Otha Lee Hutton Sr. later she married John Steele who is now deceased. She was the mother of six children.
She was preceded in death by two daughters she raised and loved as her own, Ruby Porter Jackson and Tammy House.
Pearlean leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Ruby P. House of Delhi, LA; four sons, Otha L. House, Brant A. Hutton, Arvester L. Hutton, and Lorenzo C. Ball; stepgrandchildren, Jeanine Dunn, Janell Dunn, and LoMontrell Dunn; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
