Sister Patsy J. Eaton, the fourth born child of the late Madison and Cassie Doyle Eaton, was born April 5, 1958, in Winnsboro, LA.
She joined Philadelphia Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend H.B. Rancher. She later joined Greater Flowery Mount Baptist Church in Monroe, LA, under the late Reverend J.R. Staten’s leadership. She was a choir member and then worked on the Usher Ministry as Vice President until her death.
She attended school at Crowville High School and also attended NLU.
She was a manager of the Circle K store on I-65 for a number of years. She was also a cook at Avalon Nursing Home for a number of years.
She departed this life on June 25, 2023, at the Mary Goss Nursing Home in Monroe, LA.
She was preceded in death by: her paternal and maternal grandparents, Lawyer and Katie Doyleand, and Leroy and Henrietta Eaton; parents, Madison Sr. and Cassie Doyle Eaton; and two brothers, Lavon D. Eaton and Charles Ray Eaton.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Ernestine D. Woods of Monroe, LA, and Linda Mingo (Preston) of Crowville, LA; six brothers, Morris Eaton (JoAnn), Alvin Eaton, Sr., Madison Eaton, Jr. (Irene), and Dexter “TT” Eaton, all of Crowville, LA, Raymond Eaton (Frankie) of Monroe, LA, and Dennis Eaton of Orange, TX; two uncles, J.C. Eaton (Mildred) of Dallas, TX, and Leroy Eaton of Crowville, LA; three aunts, Sister Frances Eaton and Bertha Eddings (Jack) of Dallas, TX, and Ruby Washington of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
