Patricia will always be remembered as an exceptional dog groomer and a fabulous dresser with flawless makeup. She poured love and pride into her work, carefully perfecting each client’s beloved pets and transforming them into the most precious, beautiful, and elegant companions. Her talent and dedication brought joy to countless families who cherished their pets.
She was born on September 15, 1965, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to Ira Lee Williams and the late Maggie Williams.
Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Reverend E.G. Lumpkin at Pilgrim Baptist Church. She graduated from Winnsboro High School. She attended the University of Louisiana Monroe but left to begin laying the foundation for a life filled with hard work and creativity (Dog Grooming). She graduated from Beverly’s Grooming in 1996 and became one of Baton Rouge’s top groomers.
Patricia was the definition of a true warrior and a superhero on earth. She fought a lengthy battle with breast cancer, never giving up hope, and remained steadfast in her faith, trusting God’s will every step of the way. Throughout her illness, she carried herself with grace and maintained a positive spirit that inspired all who knew her. Patricia truly lived life to the fullest—both in good health and while enduring her battle. On Saturday night, August 16, 2025, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA Patricia peacefully departed this life to her heavenly home.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory one loving son, DeMarcus Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; her father, Ira Williams of Winnsboro, LA; two sisters and one brother whom she adored, Glynda Harrington (the late Marcus) of New Lenox, Illinois; Cathy Smith (Stephon) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Terry Williams (Olivia) of Monroe, Louisiana. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Terrance Harrington, LeKetra Williams, Frederick Williams, Kadarien Williams, and Kymberly Harrington; her goddaughter Destiny Marie Rollins; and a host of other relatives, friends, and her loyal dog grooming clients in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Patricia’s life was a true reflection of strength, beauty, and faith. She touched countless hearts and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. “Rest well Cookie.”
