NiTasha LaTrice Johnson

Nitasha Latrice Johnson was born on July 28, 1981 in Shreveport, LA.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Benton, LA.

She attended Caddo Parish Public Schools and graduated from Southwood High School. She enjoyed writing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her only son Kyran.  She was smart, beautiful and was never a stranger to anyone. She was dedicated to be a great mother, friend, and family member.

Nitasha fought a long and hard battle with Lupus for over 20 years and decided to take comfort in her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2020.

Nitasha is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Leavern, Sr. and Mattie Johnson, uncles Willie A. Johnson and Edward C. Smith and cousins Rickey Smith and Anthony Smith.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to: her mother, Elaine Johnson; her only child, Kyran Johnson; brothers, Terrance Johnson (Trivia) and Dennis Johnson; one niece Armoni Johnson; one nephew, Auguste Johnson; aunts, Barbara Parish (Sip), Gloria Smith, Carolyn Coleman (David); uncles Leavern Johnson, Jr. (Nickie) and Kenneth Ray;  and a host of cousins and friends.
