Nathaniel Will "Terry" Young

On July 16, 2020, Nathaniel Will Young (Terry) was called home to be with God.

Nathaniel was born on April 12th 1964 in Rayville, Louisiana to the late Alonzo L.C. Young Sr. and Mary Young of Alto, Louisiana.

Nathaniel attended Mangham High School in Mangham, Louisiana, and later attended college at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Nathaniel later moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1985, where he lived until his passing. Nathaniel was a very friendly and outgoing person. Nathaniel never met any strangers and treated everyone with dignity and respect. He enjoyed cooking on holidays and would often invite friends and family to enjoy his delicious homemade meals.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his brothers, Alonzo Young I, Levi Young, Curlee Young, Elroy Young and sisters Nadine Johnson and Agnes Johnson- Thompson.

Nathaniel is survived by his loving wife, Charita Anderson-Young of 15 years; his sons, Garry DeMario Ratliff, Petey Anderson, Markus Anderson, and daughter Charifa Anderson; his loving mother, Mary Johnson; and sisters, Sharon Corine Young, Linda Young (Ricky), Deborah Young, Mary Lawson (Larry Lawson), Geneva Poole, Aretha Young, and Brenda Watson. He is also survived by two brothers, Alonzo Young Jr. (Lorna) and Patrick Young (Angela). Nathaniel was blessed to have five grandchildren and the apple of his eye, Jayana (Boo Boo) Anderson. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews who reside throughout the United States.

We love you Nathaniel (Terry) and will never forget you. Sleep on our Nathaniel, you have earned your rest. God has you now.
