Moses Parker Jr., was born on May 18, 1952 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Moses Parker, Sr. and Jeanette Edward Parker. His parents ensured that he learned about God and biblical principle in his childhood. He was baptized at Riverside Baptist Church under the late H.Y. Bell in Monroe, Louisiana. At an early age he accepted Jesus as his personal savior.
He attended Monroe City School and graduated from Richwood High School in 1970. Upon graduating high school he went to Wiley College in Marshal, TX. He also worked for the railroad System for many years.
His passing has left a deep void in many hearts, however the memories of the times we had, the laughs we shared, and the love thru the years will out last time.
He was preceded in death by his father Moses Parker, Sr., his mother Jeanette Edward Parker, his brothers Samson Parker and Steven Ray Parker, and his aunt AziLee Taylor.
Moses leaves to cherish his memories; son, Mandrel Parker; grandson, Jonathan Parker; brother, Billy Joe Parker; sisters, Sandra Lee Jackson, Edna Faye Parker Hodoh (Bennie Armstrong), Ora Lee Mosley, Carolyn Sue Parker Watson, and Merry Ann Parker Smith, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
A TRIBUTE: To a special Auntie Azilee Taylor (Aunt Sister) She took on a big responsibility caring for her sister’s kids. We are eternally grateful.
