Missionary Dianne Ruth Nabors Obituary

Dianne Ruth Nabors was born on February 24, 1963 in Alto, Louisiana. She was the sixth child born to the late Maggie and Edward Nabors. Dianne accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Unity Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Donald Lewis. She later relocated to Bethel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Charles Stevenson. She worked very faithfully in the church until her health failed. She was a missionary, youth Sunday school teacher, and a member of the choir ministry. She attended Wossman High School and was a senior at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, majoring in Business Administration. Dianne worked in the health care profession for 20+ years. She prepared taxes for 15+ years and was a para-educator for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Maggie Nabors; three brothers, Charles Overton, Robert Nabors, and Donald Ray Nabors; and one sister, Racheal Denise Nabors.

Dianne was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, writing poems, and singing. She was called to eternal rest on October 24, 2020. She will be missed by all that knew her.
