Violet Marie Bowman Branch was born April 10, 1963 to Beulah Mae Jefferson-Bowman and the late WC Bowman in Jonesville, Louisiana.
At an early age, Violet accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was baptized by Reverend T. H. Baker, Sr.
Violet graduated from Block High School in 1981, she continued her education in Monroe, LA at Robertson Business College where she graduated and then later attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
Violet Marie Bowman were united in holy matrimony to Samuel Sonny Branch on January 3, 1985. In that union, they were blessed with two sons, Samuel Joseph and Sean Justin, residing in Baton Rouge, LA.
Upon her departure, she leaves behind in God’s care her two sons: Samuel and Sean Branch, one grandson, Shon Ja’Yer Branch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thirteen siblings: Shirley O’Steen, Earline Bowman, Janice Finister, Frederick Bowman, Jearline Butcher, Doris Bowman, LaRonda Bowman, and Kacey Bowman all of Jonesville. Evyette Bowman of California. Mary Bowman and Donald Bowman of Dallas, Texas. Keanne Bowman and McKensiy Bowman both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A special nephew Gerron Bowman and a large number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel (Sonny) Branch, Jr., her father WC Bowman, Sr., and brother WC Bowman, Jr.
