Brother J.C. Thomas attended the Christ Harvest Church under the leadership of Elder Richard Long. He received his education in Ouachita Parish. He worked for many years paving concrete, remodeling homes, and painting. He enjoyed going to church and going out to eat with family and friends. Mr. J.C. was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints and the L.A. Dodgers. He will be missed by many of his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his nine children, five sons, J.C. Fuller (Janice) of Bastrop, LA, Walter Fuller of Sterlington, LA, Ronnie Handy, Darrell Handy, and Sheldon Handy of Monroe, LA, and four daughters, Barbara (Danny) Cooper of Sterlington, LA, Mechelle Wroten, Dora Blunt, and Shelia Handy Ford of Monroe, LA; thirty grandkids; and a host of great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ella Thomas and Dorsey Fuller, Jr.; one daughter, Sonja Handy; and one son, Melvin Handy.
