Michelle Antionette McCall

Michelle Antionette McCall, 48, of Delhi, LA, was called home on October 15, 2021. She was born to the late Lucile White McCall and the late Solomon McCall, Jr. on April 6, 1973 in Monroe, LA.

Michelle was a mother, super volunteer, coach and an all-around great person. Michelle was educated at Delhi High School and graduated in 1991. She was a member of the Pep Squad and loved being the mascot, “Walter” the Black Bear. She furthered her education at The College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX and also pursued cosmetology at Cloyd’s Beauty School. Michelle worked as a seamstress, cosmetologist and later settled in a career as a Manifester with Lamb Weston in Delhi, La. where she served for 10 years. Michelle was baptized and joined Palestine Baptist Church in Warden, LA where she faithfully served as an usher and a choir member.

Preceding her in death were both parents, a brother in law, James McDowell, Sr. and a special friend, Chiara “KK” Nash.

Michelle is survived by her three (3) children: Daliane Dayshona Charvis & Christopher Deundre McCall both of Marshall, TX and Tiere De’June’ McCall of Delhi, LA; two (2) sisters: Nandeaner McCall McDowell of Delhi, LA and Donzella McCall Lane of Rock Hill, South Carolina; four (4) brothers: Lee White & LaQuincia McCall, both of Delhi, LA; Lonnie Tucker of Monroe, LA and Lorenzo McCall of Marion, IN; three (3) Godchildren: Jazmine, Kaylin & Jaylin McDowell all of Delhi, LA and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Michelle will truly be missed and will live forever in our hearts.
