Brother Michael Odell Dubose was born October 10, 1956 in Monroe, Louisiana at E. A. Conway Hospital, which is now Ochsner of Shreveport. He was the son of the late Sidney Dubose, Sr. and the late Bessie M. Thompson. Michael is the (7) seventh child of a union of 10.
He was married to Mrs. Clara Dubose of Houston, Texas, and was later divorced.
He worked at LA. Pacific for a short period until moving to Houston, Texas. There, he got a job driving a cement truck for T.X. I. Incorporated and later became a dispatcher for the company. He worked that job for many years. Later his health started failing him so he moved back home to Clarks, Louisiana.
Upon arrival he got a job for the Tree Nursery. Later, he stepped on a tack and was allergic to the tape which his foot was wrapped with and had to have his leg amputated. He was also on dialysis for many years.
Michael departed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
He leaves to cherish is memories his ex-wife, Clara Dubose of Houston, Texas; his sisters and brothers, Susie Jackson of Bastrop, Louisiana; Roosevelt Dubose of Monroe, Louisiana; Simmie (Delilah) Dubose; Charles and Terry Dubose of Columbia Heights; and Patsy Dubose of Clarks, Louisiana and Bobbie Dubose of Olla, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
