Marstrello Martriontia Pleasant

Shawn was born to the late Gwendolyn Pleasant Williams and Mr. Wiley Taylor, Jr., in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Shawn was baptized at a young age at St. John Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Louisiana.

Shawn lived his life as a general laborer. He really found his niche when he became a butcher at Harvest Foods until his health declined.

Shawn was united in holy matrimony to Jennifer Lynn Morgan for five years and together for 13 years. No children were born to this union.

Shawn was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Pleasant Williams and maternal grandmother, Genora Pleasant.

He leaves to cherish his memories forever: his loving and devoted wife, Jennifer Morgan Pleasant of West Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter, Marstrianna Washington of Monroe, Louisiana; and one goddaughter, Natalie Criff of Monroe, Louisiana; fathers, Wiley Taylor of Winnsboro, Louisiana, and Joseph Williams, Sr., of Columbia, Louisiana; one brother, Joseph Williams, Jr., of Columbia, Louisiana; two sisters, Estrella Williams-Durham, North Carolina, and Erica Williams of Monroe, Louisiana; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
