Marquise Antawn Oliver, Sr.

On Sunday, August 2, 2020, Mr. Marquise Antawn Oliver, an amazingly talented and dedicated father and son was regrettably taken from this world at the tender age of 37.

Marq (as he was known by majority of his family) was born in Monroe, Louisiana on July 28, 1983 to Mr. Clifford Hubbard and Ms. Anita Oliver, and helped raised by Mr. Antonio Baker, all from Monroe, La.

Although he was never married, Marq did help create two awesome kids, Marquise Oliver, Jr. and Madison Robinette. Known to call your phone one million times a day, Marq has always been known for never hurting a soul and having such a forgiving heart. Marq spent most of his time creating lyrics and writing poetry to express his inner thoughts and make an impactful influence in this world for his children and himself. His spirited ways, goofy laugh, and kind and compassionate soul gave him a deep sense of the world and all that it could bare and his presence will truly be missed.

Marquise was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bobbie Jean Gibson and Nathaniel Murphy; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucille and Ellis Hubbard; two sisters, Shameta Oliver and Michelle Lewis; and a brother Maurice Oliver.

He is lived on by his mother and father Clifford and Anita; stepfather Antonio; his son Marquise Jr., his daughter Madison; five sisters, Shakeyla, Shakayla, Sharice, Kawanza, and Cierra, and a host of nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
