Sister Marilyn Ignot-Loyd was born on September 14, 1974, in Monroe, LA, to the late George Campbell and Mary Virginia Ignot. She also had a grandmother, Virginia Ignot; aunt, Rosetta Scott; and brothers, Jackie Ignot, Lester Ignot, and Terry Ignot. She was preceded in death by Charles Campbell, Dorothy Campbell, and Shelly Campbell. She departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 3:07 PM.
She was baptized at an early age at New Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend L. Major. She was united to Cathedral Loyd, Sr. To this union, they had five children.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her four sons, Tony Early Ignot of Winnsboro, LA, Cathedral Romell Loyd of Delhi, LA, Lamell Loyd of Delhi, LA, and Latrell Loyd of Delhi, LA; one daughter, Ashley Ignot of Lake Providence, LA; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; brothers, James Ignot of Monroe, LA, John Ignot of Dallas, TX, Tony Ignot of Chicago, IL, Vincent Ignot of Winnsboro, LA, and George Campbell and Robert Campbell of Winnsboro, LA; and sisters, Thelma Ignot of Winnsboro, LA, Linda Brown of Winnsboro, LA, Betty Campbell of Winnsboro, LA, Tereasa Campbell of Winnsboro, LA, Rosie Campbell of Winnsboro, LA, Georgia Campbell of Winnsboro, LA, and Patricia Campbell of Winnsboro, LA.
