Marcus Hatfield

Marcus Dewayne Hatfield, 33, of Monroe, Louisiana parted this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Meadowview Nursing Home in Minden, Louisiana. He was born on August 16, 1987 in Monroe, Louisiana to Mandy and Max Hatfield.

Marcus’ early education was received in the Monroe City Schools System. He grew up in the Booker T. Community. He made many friends during his life’s journey. He was fun loving and always entertainment for all. Marcus was very caring and had a big heart with love for all his family and friends.

Although Marcus is home with the Lord, we know we will see him again someday. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Naylor, T-Arthur Hatfield, and Dorothy Hatfield; his uncles T-Arthur Hatfield, Jr., Larry Hatfield, Terry Hatfield; his aunt, Glenda Hatfield; and his brother, David Hatfield.

Marcus is survived by his two daughters, Markesia and Mandy Drummer, and their mother, Stephanie Drummer; his parents, Mandy and Max Hatfield; his sister, LaKenya Battle-Bridges; his brother, Max Battle, Jr.; his aunt, Carla Battle, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins on his mom and dad sides of the family, along with many friends.
