Sister Mae Paula (Pella) George was born June 5, 1961, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Gloria Myers and Robert Lewis. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Mount Sanai Baptist Church, Waverly, Louisiana.
Mae leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Kristen McDowell (Brelin), San Antonio, Texas, and Kayshawnda George (Quincy), Delhi, Louisiana; three grandchildren; Brelin McDowell, Jr., Breah McDowell, and Triston Allen; two brothers, Ellis Myers (Nicole) Oak Grove, Louisiana, and Patrick Myers (Fanesha) Fontana, California; two sisters, Sallie George Turner (John) Delhi, Louisiana, and Patricia Cleveland (Willie), Delhi, Louisiana; Anthony George, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Stephanie Levine (Terrance); and aunt and uncles, Mary Alice Johnson, John Goerge, and Stanley George.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Gloria and Robert; grandparents, Jack and Maggie George; aunts, Martha Burgess, Vera Beck, Callie Sanders, Thelma Franklin, and Ruthie Lee Osborne; and uncle, Patrick George.
