Louise Shaw was born on March 14, 1940, to the late John and Marie Shaw of Winnsboro, Louisiana. She departed her earthly life, January 15, 2021.
She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church of Monroe, Louisiana. She believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and she served on the Mother’s Board for a short time.
Louise was a single working mother at Mary Gross Nursing Home. She retired from Mary Gross after working there for 30-plus years. She was dedicated to her work and a provider to her four children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Shaw; three brothers, John Shaw, Jr., Ed Shaw, and Roosevelt Shaw; and two sisters, Jennet Scott and Leatha Mae Woods.
Louise leaves to cherish her memories: two brothers, Lavelle Shaw and Lewis Shaw; four children, Larry Shaw (Peggie), Deloris Shaw, Deborah Bradford (Melvin), and James Earl Shaw (Sharon); 17 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
