Loretta Denise Schiele-Norl

Loretta was born March 24, 1961, in Jonesville, LA, to the late James Schiele and Mattie Brown.

She was a loving wife to Clarence Norl and a loving mother to all her children, Siressa Johnson, Johnny (Shavondalyn) Johnson, Johnnise Johnson, Jamye Johnson, JaLisa Johnson, “CJ” (Shaneika) Norl, Roderick Norl, Shereka Norl, and Eureka Lee.

Loretta was also a member of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church in Jonesville, LA, for over 20 years, under the leadership of Dr. Dave Mays.

Loretta graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor’s in Education. She also furthered her education at Louisiana College to obtain her Master’s degree in teaching. She worked diligently as an Educator while taking care of her family. Loretta enjoyed being with family and always kept a beautiful smile at all times. Loretta was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Brown, her father, James Schiele, her sister, Cynthia Schiele, and her brother, Eddie Lee Schiele. She leaves to cherish her memories: one brother, Ronald Schiele of Monroe, LA; four sisters, Jacqueline Schiele, Deborah (Richard) Coleman, and Katrina Schiele, all of Monroe, LA, and Carol (Kevin) Woods of Dallas, TX; along with a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Loretta had several lifetime friends: Letisha Hatcher, Lisa Anderson, Andrea C. Greene, Raynell Hill, Shirley Wilson, Lora Wilhite, Mary Cooper and Dr. Tanasha Varino.
