Linda Pearl Puckett-Fairley (Linnie) was born April 10, 1945 to the late R.V. Puckett and Mary Lewis Puckett in Delhi, Louisiana.
She departed this life on June 2, 2020 at the Northeast Louisiana Medical Center.
Linda accepted Christ at an early age at Saint John Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend Daniel Lee McCall, Sr.
She met and married Mr. James E. Fairley, Sr. on January 13, 1963. To this union 7 children were born. Two preceded her in death.
She later moved to Ruston, Louisiana, where she joined Love Chapel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend David Lee Slack, Jr. She remained there until her death.
Linda is also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Edward Fairley, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Karen Veronica Fairley of Simsboro and Niketra Sheree Fairley-Jones (Mike) of Texas; three sons, James Edward Fairley, Jr. of Jonesboro, Michael Ray Fairley of Monroe, and LaTorrance Terrell Fairley (Kecia) of Simsboro; one sister, Doris Criss; two brothers, Johnny Puckett of Delhi, and Reverend Luther Allen Puckett of Detriot; nineteen grandchildren, Brandon Fairley, Silynda Coleman, Shandrecka Fairley, Jeremy Fairley, Jayland Fairley, LaTerrica Smith (Antoine), JaKelia Jones, DaKendric Jones, Jamesha Fairley, Aleczandria Fairley, JaMyia Fairley, Leila Fairley, Iyona Fairley, Mariah Fairley, MaKayla Fairley, Peyton Fairley, LaTorrance Terrell Fairley, Jr., Ashton Rhodes, and Leighton Fairley; three adopted grandchild, Lanosius Williams, O'Derrick Allen, and Terry Allen; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
