Leroy Dorsey

Leroy Dorsey was born April 26,1961 to the late Edward & Bernice Dorsey of Monroe, Louisiana. 

Leroy was educated in the Ouachita Parish Schools System and later became a talented mechanic. He was always there to service those in need or teaching others that had a desire to learn the trade. 

Leroy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age. He was baptized at King Solomon Baptist Church in Swartz, Louisiana under the leadership of the the late Rev. S.L. Pierce. Leroy was a kindhearted, caring person who greeted everyone with an infectious smile and a few choice words to guarantee to make you laugh.

 He was proceeded in death by his father, Edward Dorsey; mother, Bernice Dorsey; two sisters, Doris Dorsey and Arneice Dorsey, and one brother Edward Dorsey Jr.

 Leroy leaves to cherish: two sisters, Bonnie Cushenberry (Stanley Cushenberry) of Spring, Texas; and Linda Dorsey of Monroe, Louisiana; two brothers, George Dorsey (Johnnie Mae Dorsey) of Monroe, Louisiana; and Charles Dorsey (Debbie Dorsey) of Monroe, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
