Leroy Colvin was born November 26, 1934, to the late Levi and Elizabeth Colvin in Marion, LA.
On Tuesday, God dispatched his angels to the bedside of Leroy Colvin and took him to a place of eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Elizabeth; two sisters, Ardell Johnson and Essie Dell Taylor; two brothers, Fonnie and Lonnie Colvin; one great-grandson, Kendrick Jackson; and the mother of his two children and forever friend, Rosie Colvin.
Leroy retired from driving 18-wheelers for J. J. Hich Trucking. Leroy loved to eat at the local Walmart and hang out. He enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren. At 90, he loved listening to music and putting his ribs on the grill.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his four daughters, Barbar James of Monroe, LA, Patricia Colvin of Detroit, MI, Betty Payne of Bernice, LA, and Rhonda Traylor of Marion, LA; three sons, Roy Colvin (LaToya) of Monroe, LA, Roy Dean Kendick (Tallanisha) of Thick Snow, LA, and Rhandall Traylor of Ruston, LA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
