Laura Jane Moran-Jones

Ms. Laura Jane Moran was born on November 9, 1954, and departed her life on November 21, 2021. She was the daughter of late Betsy Ann Moran and late John Percy Moran. Laura grew up in South Bend, Indiana, where she completed her vocational and educational program at Logan Center. She worked at Logan Industries for several years as a packer and assembler prior to relocating to Louisiana.

Laura leaves to cherish her loving memory: daughter, Martha LaShay Moran; one brother and six sisters, Barbara Gee and late husband Alexander Gee of Maryland; Gregory Moran and his wife Connie Moran of Monroe, Louisiana; Cassandra Moran of Florida; Angela Kay Johnson and husband Roshorne Johnson of Florida; Johnna Wyatt and her husband Roy Wyatt, Jr. of Monroe, Louisiana; Yolanda Moran of Houston, Texas; and Karla Moran of Florida; two aunts, Angie Smith and Katie Turner; one uncle, Roger Wilson, all living in South Bend, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will not only mourn her death but cherish her memories.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, John Percy Moran and Betsy Moran; brother, John Wayne Moran; and uncle, Charles Wilson.
