Brother Killando “LaVay’’ Eaton was born on July 27, 1976, to Millicent Stapleton and Morris Eaton of Crowville, Louisiana. He departed this earthly world on October 3, 2021.

LaVay was baptized at an early age and was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church of Baskin, Louisiana, where he served as an usher and sang in the youth choir.

LaVay had a smile that would melt your heart, and no one was a stranger. LaVay believed in giving handshakes, kissed every woman he saw, and gave every child a hug. One of his favorite things to do was color in his coloring books.

LaVay leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Millicent Smith (George) of Baskin, LA; father, Morris Eaton (Joeanne) of Crowville, LA; many siblings, Cedric Smith (Adrienne) of New Haven, CT, Nekeyshia Rivers (Charles) of Rosenberg, TX, Jermaine Cleveland of Delhi, LA, Shelia Hollis of Monroe, LA, Levonne Cleveland of Plano, TX, Shawn Smith (Enjalae) of Forney, TX, Selvia Harris (Corey) of Little Elm, TX, Shalisa Hollis of Crowville, LA, Davannal Smith of Baskin, LA, Shalonda Smith-Thomas (Michael) of Dallas, TX, Kimberly Smith of Euless, TX, Marcus Eaton of Crowville, LA, Samuel Smith of Mesquite, TX, Millicent Denise Smith of Baskin, LA, and Valquincy Grant Smith of Baskin, LA; god-siblings, Stephanie McFarland, Sabrina Holland, Sharilynn McFarland, Terrell Criff, Amanda McFarland, and Jacob Spencer; and loving caretaker, Terrell Robinson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
