Kenneth Wayne Green

On February 20, 1964, Brother Kenneth Wayne Green was born in Monroe, LA, the third child of the late Herman Joe Allen, Jr., and Ramona Marie Carridine.

He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined St. Paul United Methodist Church under the leadership of John Tellis. His late maternal grandparents were his grandfather, Roosevelt Green and grandmother, Cleola Carridine.

Brother Kenneth was loved and respected by the young and old who cherished the opportunity to talk with him. He was fondly known as “Kenny” or “Green.”

On Monday, March 4, 2024, the Angel of Love carried him home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Joe Allen Jr and brother, David Wayne.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Berdetta Lynn Green; five loving daughters, Kendrea Murray from Little Elm, TX, Stepanie Gayden from Frisco, TX, Romessia Williams (Damien Williams) from McKinney, TX, Shetakia Murray from Monroe, LA, Lachandra Adams (Candy) from Monroe, LA; two loving step-sons, Quinton La-Poole from Monroe, LA, Demarcus Boo Duncan from Monroe, LA; his loving mother, Ramona Marie Carridine from Monroe, LA; sisters, Angela Taylor (Patrick Taylor) from Monroe, LA; Lisa Allen from Atlanta, GA, Lynn Allen from Atlanta, GA, Tanya Green from Monroe, LA, Shalandra Bethley; four brothers, Warren Green (Annie) from Houston,TX, Terry Allen (Tee-Fox) from Monroe, LA, and Thirsten Mayfield from Dallas, TX; nineteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We praise God for blessing him with 60 precious years of life.
