Kenneth Eugene Pimpleton also known as “Pops” was born in Monroe, LA on February15, 1955. He was the baby of six children born to O.C., Sr. and Helen Jenkins Pimpleton.
He was a very kind spirited and humble man that was well known and loved. He worked for the City of Monroe and then the City of West Monroe from where he retired in February 2018.
Kenny gave his life to Christ at an early age. He later became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Ike Byrd III where he was a proud and faithful servant of God as one of his doorkeepers and a city wide usher until his health failed.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, O.C. Sr and Helen Jenkins Pimpleton and three brothers, O.C. Pimpleton, Jr , Don Garfield Pimpleton and Raymond Williams. His journey came to an end on May 21, 2020 with his wife by his side.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Vernisa Mack Pimpleton, three daughters, Tasha Bonner, Debra White, and Renesha Mack, two sons, LaJamian McGraw and Larkin McGraw, two Godchildren, Yaineshia Gibson and Wileshia Lumpkins, two sisters, Helen James (Sam) and Rosetta Jackson (Orneal), three brothers, Larry Pimpleton (Inette), Levi Williams, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
