Kenneth Heckard, Jr., loved playing his games, relaxing with his friends, and traveling the world. He had a smile that lit the whole room up once he walked in. Kenneth worked for Cartown for five and a half years, where he worked as a porter. He loved his job and job family. He was a hardworking, generous soul.
Kenneth was all about family and family sticking together. His favorite quote was “We all we got.” As you all know, his favorite football team was The New Orleans Saints. He was a die-hard Saints fan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Heckard; grandmother, Essie Heckard; grandfather, John Heckard; grandmother, Louise Moore; grandfather, Lee Drew Moore; and uncle, Carlos Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Mattie Moore; father, Kenneth Moore; sisters, Teona Moore and Kena Heckard; brothers, Monterio Moore and Aliana Williams; nieces, Arianna Heckard, Kynleigh Hayes, and Maliyah Moore; nephews, Elijah Moore and Ayden Heckard; aunts, Debbie (Micheal Bryant), Bertha Heckard (Darryl Manning), Sonia Heckard, Lenzie Hall, Dianne Richardson, Coretta Moore, Yolanda Ashley, and Ruby Moore, all of Monroe; uncles, Roger Moore, John Heckard, Arthur Heckard, Bobby Heckard, Troy Heckard, Curtis Heckard, and Ronnie Heckard, all of Monroe; special cousin, Quat’Terrius Heckard; special best friends, Calvin Marshall, DeMario Marshall, JaMalcom Griffin, Chad Thomas, and D’Angelo McClinton; and a host of cousins and friends.
