Kendria Shanell Phillips was born on July 1, 1979 to Ivory Phillips and Demetria Parker in Las Vegas, Nevada. On July 27, 2020, God looked around his garden again and found that empty space and decided it was time that Kendria returned back and take her place. Kendria departed this life at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi, Louisiana after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Willie Parker.
Although Kendria was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, she and her mother made a new home in Delhi, Louisiana. Kendria attended the Richland Special School. Although she was confined to her chair, that did not hinder her from traveling, going on vacations, and being a part of family functions.
At the time of her death, Kendria was a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Eugene Young.
