Joseph Julius Harper

Joseph Julius “JJ” Harper was born on January 26, 2000, in Monroe, Louisiana. His parents are Brenda Sue Harper and Charles Lee Augustine, Jr.

He attended Carroll Junior High and later went on the graduate from The Wossman High School Class of 2019. While attending high school, Joseph became physically ill unexpectedly. Although Joseph faced this serious health issue, he never let that stop him from living a joyous life. For instance, he was a natural born musician who played all sorts of eclectic musical instruments.

Joseph aspired to be a well-known rap artist someday. He was so multitalented that he almost obtained a record deal. He was truly our shining star.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Brenda Harper; his father, Charles Lee Augustine, Jr.; his grandparents, Joseph J. Harper and Minnie L. Harper; six sisters and four brothers, Donisha Harper, Artemas Harper, Angelique Harper, Valaris Harper, Michelle Lawrence, Laquita Lawrence, Charles Lawrence, Emma Lawrence, Kendrick Lawrence, and Zamarion Turner; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
