Jonell Hicks

Jonell Griffin-Hicks was born July 24,1953. She was called home from her earthly life during the early hours of Monday on June 15, 2020.

She leaves behind her husband (David Hicks), a son (Reginald Griffin), a brother (Gerome Wallace Sr.), a grandson (Donavon Griffin), and numerous other family members and friends who loves her and will cherish the memories that were made.

Jonell reunited with her beloved and late family members including, her Father (Buddy Davis) , Mother & Stepfather ( Tom & Betty Jo Carr) Sisters ( Evelyn Simmons & Rosemary Wallace-Hicks ) , and her Nephews ( Leon Hicks II & Jared Simmons)

Jonell was a graduate of Eastside High School in Farmerville , La. As a child she attended Zion Hill Baptist Church and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. After meeting the love of her life (David Hicks) she transferred her membership to Springhill Baptist Church and remained a active member until she was called home.
