Johnny C. Edwards was born on March 17, 1998, to his late mother, Angela Edwards, in Monroe, LA. He attended Ouachita High School. Johnny was affectionately referred to as “Papa” or “The Landlord.”
Preceding in death was his mother, Angela Teresa Edwards; sister, Aletha Angela Edwards; grandmother, Ida Walker; and uncle, Johnny C. Edwards.
Johnny was a very loving and caring person. He was very funny and loved to crack jokes to make people laugh. He was very compassionate. He’s known for feeding the homeless and coaching children at football. He enjoyed trail rides, dancing, and hanging with friends. He was well-known and loved in his community. Papa was an avid Cowboy’s fan. He left a lasting impression on everyone whom he met.
Papa leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories: his siblings, Kenyatta Butler, Kimberly Williams (Dominique Williams), Katherine Edwards, Kristina Edwards, Alvin Nunnery III, Ruby Pearl Edwards, Princess Bradford and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
